The Estonian Concrete Association presented the book "Eesti betoonehituse ajalugu". The publication gives an overview of the history of the concrete industry and construction in Estonia. The book was put together for the 10th anniversary of the Estonian Concrete Association.

The book is divided into four time periods – Tsarist era, the Republic of Estonia, Soviet Estonia and the newly independent Estonia. At the end of each time period, a chapter is dedicated to the architecture of that period.

The book was composed by Toomas Kään. There are several authors: The author of parts I, II and III is historian Uno Trumm, the author of parts III and IV is journalist Paavo Kangur and the author of architectural chapters at the end of each four parts is the construction historian Maris Mändel.

The book "Estonian History of Concrete Construction" was published by the communication company In Nomine at the request of the Estonian Concrete Association. The book was funded by 24 Estonian concrete and construction companies.

The Estonian Concrete Association is a union that promotes the use of concrete as a domestic building material, which includes 48 companies, organizations and private individuals.

E-Betoonelement is represented at the Concrete Building of the Year 2014 competition with three objects: Dirham Harbour facilities, Tallinn Rescue Depot and General Emergency Centre and Kiisa Emergency Power Plant.

Justification for the proposal: A building complex based on a complex and carefully selected concrete that mix in the Dirham port area. The owner's will to build the buildings of the revolving harbor in concrete, long-lasting and capital-intensive buildings.

Justification for the proposal: The exterior facade of the building is transformed into special reinforced concrete elements molded with mattresses of wood, imitating charred surfaces - from a distance it is difficult to see whether the facade is wood-paneled or otherwise.

Justification for the proposal: It is known that there are openings of concrete walls previously designed in Estonia. This special solution was designed by the E-Betoonelement staff for the Kiisa Emergency Power Plant to receive several hundred tons of machinery.

Üheksa kuuga kasvas Eesti Ehitusmaterjalide Tootjate Liitu kuuluvate ettevõtete müügikäive ligikaudu 2% - 317 miljoni euroni. Enim on kasvanud raudbetoonelementide müük, samuti sillutuskivide, seinamaterjalide ja soojustusmaterjalide müük. AS E-Betoonelement has entered into a contract with Harju Elekter AS to manufacture, design, transport and install reinforced concrete elements for the construction of Eccua production facility at the address Angerja Street 40, Hüüru village, Saue rural municipality.

We will manufacture hollow core slabs, posts, HI-beams, SW walls, partition walls and stairways for the object.

The production facility is designed for the manufacture and compilation of underground and above-ground tanks made of thermoplastics and fibreglass, pipe structures made of stainless steel and products made using the method of rotational moulding.

The delivery and installation of elements will last until the end of December.

AS E-Betoonelement has entered into a contract with Ramm Ehituse OÜ to manufacture and transport reinforced concrete elements for the construction of Jõgeva District command and logistics centre of the Estonian Defence League at the address Aia 36a, Jõgeva.

We will manufacture hollow core slabs, SW walls and stairways for the object.

In addition to office spaces, the Jõgeva District command and logistics centre is planned to include classrooms and 3-lane shooting range with weapons rooms. The courtyard will include equipment storage and rooms for the maintenance of technology. Classrooms can seat up to 60 people.

The building complex was designed by Resand AS, and owner's supervision of construction works is conducted by AS Telora-E.

According to plans, the building will be handed over by the builders to the beginning of the summer, and at the end of the summer, the Jõgeva's defense unit should start work in the new building.

The Estonian Concrete Association and the Association of Estonian Building Materials Manufacturers will announce the competition "Concrete Construction of the Year 2014". The competition is intended to contribute to the development of concrete architecture, concrete technology to enhance the reputation of concrete as a building material in the country.

"Hopefully, the construction market will give both customers and builders time and opportunity to pay more attention to quality.

Buildings - buildings and facilities are expected to the competition, which is transferred to the contracting in the year of 2014 and have not previously been submitted to the competition.

"Buildings and structures around Estonia have been completed and completed. We are looking forward to people involved in the construction of these buildings to submit our concrete competition, "said Peeter Kokk, Managing Director of the Estonian Concrete Association.

The deadline for submission of entries of competition is December 1, 2014.

The winner will be announced on the national Concrete Day in March 2015.

AS E-Betoonelement and Rand ja Tuulberg AS signed a contract for the design, manufacture and supply of reinforced concrete elements for Maxima Logistics Centre located at Õlleköögi tee 24, Kurna, Rae Parish, Harju County.

We are manufacturing posts, bias voltage beams, hollow core elements, SW-walls, TT panels, partition walls and stairways for the object.
The supply of elements begins in September this year and lasts until January 2015.

The 45,000 square meter centre will accommodate dry, cold and container storages with 130 goods delivery platforms that will serve about 300 vehicles a day.

The centre was designed by Nord Projekt AS and the general contractor is AS Rand ja Tuulberg. The facility is to be completed in December 2015.

On 19 February, 2014, AS SWETRAK and E-Betoonelement Rail OÜ signed a merger agreement.

On 30 April, 2014, an entry was made in the commercial register regarding the merger of AS SWETRAK and E-Betoonelement Rail OÜ, and E-Betoonelement Rail OÜ was removed from the register.
As a result of the merger, CONSOLIS OY AS, who had previously been the sole shareholder of E-Betoonelement Rail OÜ, became the sole shareholder of the public limited company SWETRAK.

As of entering SWETRAK and E-Betoonelement Rail OÜ in the register, the assets and commitments of E-Betoonelement Rail OÜ are deemed to be transferred to the public limited company SWETRAK.

As a result of the merger, all contracts entered into with E-Betoonelement Rail OÜ and all rights and undertakings arising thereof were transferred to the public limited company SWETRAK, and as of 30 April, 2014, your cooperation partner is the public limited company SWETRAK instead of E-Betoonelement Rail OÜ.
